Washington County Arrest Reports
The sheriff publishes no weekly, 72-hour, or multi-day booking blotter for Washington County. No archive depth or roll-off schedule appears either. The Zuercher portal covers current inmates only. Once someone leaves local custody, the live roster stops answering the question, even though the sheriff still holds the underlying booking record and arrest report.
So a multi-day search is really a records task. Begin with the official Washington County Jail page to confirm whether the person is still in custody. Then take older periods to the sheriff's Records Department. When Weiser Police Department officers made the arrest, that agency may hold its own incident record while the county jail holds the related booking.

Work backward from the date and the agency rather than scrolling some unofficial page. Jot down the person's name. Add the likely event date, the arresting agency, and a case number if you have one. The custody roster gives a current lead but no archive. A booking may still be fresh. For that, the Arrested Today page is the focused route.
- Check the county current-inmates portal for present local custody.
- Identify whether the sheriff, Weiser Police Department, or another agency made the arrest.
- Ask the sheriff Records Department for a booking or arrest report covering a clear date range.
- Search Idaho iCourt for a filed case, hearings, bond events, and disposition.
- Use IDOC or a federal locator only after custody has moved to that system.
This order sidesteps three common errors. A missing roster entry does not erase a past booking. A news story is not the arrest report. A filed charge is not the final court result. Each source covers one stage, and the office that created the record should be the one to confirm it. The Washington County Records Department page shows the county office that handles report and citation requests.
The county records page marks the main historical route without listing or displaying arrested people.
Washington County Report Fields
Washington County publishes no multi-day blotter schema. No fixed set of online columns can be promised. When fields exist and are releasable, a report request may seek the ones below. The custodian can redact protected facts. The public roster also tends to show fewer details than the full agency record.
| Report detail | Why it matters | Do not assume |
|---|---|---|
| Name and local identifier | Separates people with similar names | That every identifier is public |
| Incident and booking dates | Places the arrest within the requested range | That both dates are the same |
| Arresting or booking agency | Points to the proper record custodian | That the jail made the arrest |
| Charges as booked | Shows charges entered at intake | That they became convictions |
| Bond, release, or transfer | Explains a later custody change | That every field appears online |
| Photo or court reference | May support identity or docket follow-up | That a public photo is guaranteed |
No written public roster-photo policy appears in the county material. A booking photo may exist without ever being displayed. Ask the custodian for a particular releasable image instead of trusting a copied one. Juveniles, sealed files, victim facts, and medical data carry strict access limits. Those limits apply on top of that.
Note: Ask which office made each record; an arrest report, jail booking, and court docket can have different custodians.
Weekend Arrest Report Gaps
Washington County posts no weekend or holiday schedule. There is no sign of a routine surge. A Friday arrest might still sit on the current roster. It might end in release, or need a date-range request later. With no public weekly log, Monday's visible entries cannot be read as the whole weekend. Posting time and event time are different facts too. A local news story can appear well after the agency event. A court filing can follow booking. The county has never measured a lag between booking and the portal. Call the jail for present custody. Ask the records clerk for a full request rather than inventing a delay.

Office hours say nothing about when an arrest happened or when a roster result changed. They simply mark the normal contact window the sheriff publishes.
Washington County Arrest Archives
The county Records Department converts documents for permanent storage and retrieval. It keeps paperwork from deputies and criminal investigations. That makes the office the first stop for any old Washington County arrest report. It does not state a booking-record retention term. Nor does it promise that an old booking photograph survives.
Idaho's law-enforcement retention schedule names record series. Booking records, warrant logs, arrest histories, and inmate case files are among them. No reliable exact period exists for each series, so do not infer a number. Ask the county which series applies. Ask whether the item is still held, and whether it was transferred or lawfully destroyed.
If a record was transferred, the Idaho State Archives is the next route. Its holdings can include county, sheriff, municipal police, and court material. The Records Center notes a caveat. Papers still in the creating agency's custody are not necessarily there. Retention also differs from display. A record can stay stored long after it rolls off a live roster.
Note: A third-party page's oldest visible entry does not establish Washington County's legal retention rule or official archive depth.
Local Arrest News Has Context
For narrative coverage of Washington County arrests, the Weiser Signal American is the paper locals turn to. Its news section carries stories on arrests, police pursuits, jail status, and the court dates that follow. New articles appear as events unfold. A weekly print edition comes out as well. What the paper does not offer is a live booking feed or a running mugshot gallery.
A news story can add real value. It may explain how an agency responded, or tie an arrest to a later court outcome. Treat it as reporting, though, not as the record itself. Names, charge wording, and custody status still belong with the sheriff, the police, the jail, or iCourt. Coverage also leans toward Weiser and countywide news, with no standing arrest section for Cambridge or Midvale. The Signal American news view shows what local narrative coverage looks like next to a county arrest database.
The capture helps distinguish dated journalism from the sheriff's official custody and records systems.
Unofficial Washington County Archives
Unofficial aggregator sites exist for Washington County, but they sit behind the official sources. They copy names, booking dates, charges, demographic details, and sometimes photos. That material can sit stale or incomplete. It may also cut loose from what a court later decided. Pagination on those pages is not the county's booking window. They cannot prove who is in custody now, who has a warrant, or anything else of record.
Busted Newspaper's Washington County section is one such archive. RecentlyBooked and Mugshots.com host county sections too, and Arrests.org runs a statewide Idaho route. Mugshots.zone and Idaho Blotter offer no useful Washington County, Idaho inventory. Another trap: other states have counties named Washington. Confirm you are looking at Idaho before trusting any copied entry. The unofficial county archive page simply documents this corner of the local information landscape.
Note: This page is not an endorsement and not a source of record; check every entry against county and court records.
Arrest Reports Versus Court Results
Each source answers a different question. An arrest report documents an agency's action. A jail booking documents intake and custody. Idaho iCourt shows what happens after that. You might see a filed charge, a hearing, a bond event, or a disposition. Dispositions run from dismissal to amended charge, plea, acquittal, or conviction. A case can also still be pending.
The Idaho Department of Correction search comes later still. It applies once someone is in state prison, on probation, or on parole. Federal custody runs through federal systems, not the Washington County roster. Following one case across days means working through those sources in order. The first charge is never the last word. The court follow-up to a Washington County booking starts at the official Idaho iCourt entry screen. Sealed, exempt, and other access limits still apply to the portal.
